About Me

Not just the music, but why I do it.

What brought me to this point, how I do what I do, some cool things I’ve accomplished in performing, and random things about me.

Hi! I’m Nevaeh

I’m a musician, entertainer, and storyteller, just shy of 20 years old. My journey into music began unexpectedly after an illness in 2021 left me unable to work or do much of anything for months. In search of extra cash, I took a chance on busking and quickly fell in love—it was performing like the theatre I did growing up, but I didn’t have to “be” someone else. People stayed for me.

Starting with covers, I eventually tried songwriting. At first, I hated it! But as I found my voice—funny, witty, wordy, and universal—it became an extension of who I am. Now, songwriting and storytelling define me, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have stumbled into this path.

Now that you know why I’m here, let’s scroll for the cool stuff…

Travelling + Touring

In my final year of high school, I planned and embarked on a solo tour across Canada, performing dozens of shows over two months. From ticketed events to retirement homes, I played anywhere and everywhere, often walking or bussing with all my equipment since I was still underage.

The following year, I toured the UK, performing at iconic venues like LUNA, one of London’s top grassroots venues, and at major events like the Maldon Mud Race, which drew over 30,000 attendees. I also played at Westival—hailed by The Times as one of the UK’s top-rated festivals—and had a live performance featured on BBC Radio!

In summer 2024, I drove from BC to Northern Saskatchewan, touring Western Canada and releasing my debut single, Mom’s Eulogy. The journey culminated with an opening set for Steven Page (Barenaked Ladies) at Ravenwood Music Festival. Upon returning home, I performed at Denim on the Diamond alongside artists like Kaleo.

On The Horizon

My current goals and dream directions:

I’m currently working on booking a tour along the West Coast for 2025—fingers crossed! I’m aiming to hit BC, Washington, and Oregon.

I also apply to festivals and programs across North America and the UK with a simple motto: “If I get in, I’m going!”

As for my dream direction, right now it’s all about being an opener on someone’s tour—preferably in theatres. I’ve travelled and performed solo (and I absolutely love it!), but the idea of sharing the stage with another artist, connecting with their fanbase, and performing night after night in “guaranteed” listening rooms? That’s my goal and big dream at the moment. It feels like the next natural step for both my heart and my career.
